How It All Started

My love for recipes began as a kid, perched on a stool in my grandmother’s sunlit kitchen. I remember flour-dusted counters, the hum of her stories, and the way laughter mixed with the aroma of cinnamon rolls on a Saturday morning. Those early moments—sticky fingers and all—sparked something in me: a genuine fascination with how food connects us.

As I grew older, I found myself collecting recipes from family, friends, and even strangers I met traveling. What I loved most wasn’t just the food, but the connections and traditions each dish represented. That passion—combined with a wish to preserve and share these memories—inspired me to start Life With Lora.

I’ve trained with local chefs, completed a certificate in home cooking from KitchenLab, and tested hundreds of recipes for taste, ease, and reliability.

Every recipe I share goes through a careful process: I start with research and inspiration, adapt for real-life kitchens, and test (sometimes three or four times!) until I’m confident you’ll love the results. I photograph every dish myself, making sure you know exactly what to expect—from golden, flaky pastries to vibrant, garden-fresh salads. I’m committed to clear instructions, helpful tips, and beautiful visuals that guide you from start to finish.
